  3. Use this software to monitor remote connections to computers running 
  4. Windows 95 if your network uses Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) 
  5. system management products for system management. 
  6.  
  7. The Windows 95 SNMP agent conforms to the SNMP version 1 specification.
  8. This agent allows you to monitor, from an SNMP console, remote connections 
  9. to computers running Windows 95. After this agent is installed, 
  10. you do not need to make any other modifications to client computers 
  11. to use SNMP. The SNMP agent is implemented as a Win32-based service 
  12. and works using Windows Sockets over both TCP/IP and IPX/SPX. 
  13. The extension agents are implemented as Win32 DLLs.

  15. To install SNMP Agent on a computer already running Windows 95, 
  16. use the Network icon in Control Panel, click the Add button,
  17. select Service as the type of network component to install, click
  18. the Add button, click the Have Disk button, and install from the
  19. ADMIN\NETTOOLS\SNMP directory.
